Join WHS

Membership of WHS benefits all of our activities and projects. In return you receive regular updates via our online members’ socials on events and issues of interest, reduced fees at WHS conferences and the knowledge that you are helping to promote the study of and research into women’s and gender history.

The information you supply when you complete an application form will be stored on the WHS membership database and, with the exception of personal contact details (which will not be circulated for security reasons), may be made available to others (e.g. at WHS conferences).

If any member wishes to contact another they may do this via a member of the steering committee.

Annual membership fees are £10.00 for waged members or £5.00 for non-waged / students (renewable each January, for new members joining after 30 June 18 months membership will be provided to begin with)

There are four ways to join Women’s History Scotland:

1. By making a direct bank payment transfer into our bank account:

  • Account name: Scottish Women’s History Network
  • Sort code: 80 09 55
  • Account number: 00614209
  • (If you are outside the UK the IBAN number is GB56 BOFS  8009 5500 61 42 09)

2. By setting up a standing order on your online banking using the details above.

3. By completing the bankers order form and sending it to:

  • St Andrews

4. By cheque (made out to Scottish Women’s History Network) sent to Ann Kettle at the address above
